Waypoint has in place Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Guidelines addressing procedures such as tour environment, client safety and well-being and staff minimum competency requirements. There are also well-established procedures for pre, on tour, and post-tour activities to ensure tours run smoothly and efficiently.
WayPoint Guides hold minimum advanced level qualifications in operating and recovering a 4WD, are remote area 1st Aid qualified.
Waypoint vehicles are Satellite-tracked as well as carrying sat phones, spot trackers, UHF radios, hand-held radios, fire extinguishers and Outback 1st Aid Kits.
